How we work
Who actually builds the site?+
Every site is built and finished by a person. We use AI to draft starting points (copy, layout) so we can ship faster, but the brand-specific work is hand-crafted.
How long until launch?+
Most Starter sites are live within a week. Grow takes 1–2 weeks. VIP can take 2–3 weeks for the deeper polish and integrations. We give you a firm date in the quote.
What if I don't have brand assets / copy / images yet?+
Fine — we draft copy and source stock photography or illustrations as part of the build. If you have a logo we'll use it; if not, we can put together a wordmark.
Can I see examples?+
We're early. As we ship more sites we'll add a portfolio here. In the meantime we can share staging links from in-progress projects on a discovery call.
Plans & pricing
What happens if I cancel my monthly plan?+
You stop paying, we stop hosting and supporting. Your domain stays yours. If you'd like to take the code with you when you leave, switch to the Own It tier or buy out the build (one-off fee).
Can I edit the site myself?+
On Grow and VIP plans we set up a lightweight CMS (Payload) so you can change copy and images yourself. On Starter, we handle minor edits for you each month — no CMS to learn.
What counts as a 'minor edit'?+
Copy tweaks, swapping images, adding a team member, changing a price, fixing a typo. Up to ~30 minutes a month is included. Bigger work (new pages, new sections, design changes) is quoted separately.
What if I want a feature that's not in my tier?+
Two options: upgrade tier, or buy the feature as a one-off add-on. We'll always give you a fixed quote upfront — no surprise invoices.
Do you do redesigns?+
Yes. Most clients on Grow get a refresh in their second year — included in the recurring fee.
Hosting & ownership
Where are sites hosted?+
On Vercel, with a Postgres-backed CMS on Neon when needed. Edge-cached, fast everywhere, with auto-SSL.
Who owns the code?+
On Starter / Grow / VIP, we own the code while you're on the recurring plan. On Own It, you own the code outright — we hand over the repo.
Can I move the site to my own hosting later?+
Yes. Switch to the Own It tier (one-off fee) and we'll hand over the repo with deploy instructions for Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, or wherever you'd like.
What about my domain?+
Your domain is always yours. We point it at our hosting; we never register it on our account.
